A Look Back - Top Five Posts of 2025

Just a few days ago, I bid farewell to yet another successful year as an author, and welcomed 2026 with a bit of fanfare and lots of bubbly. Can you believe another year has come and gone? Where did the time go? 


To start off the new year, I dug into my stats, to see which of last years' posts were most popular and recap all that I've accomplished on this crazy writing journey of mine. And so, without further ado, here are my most popular blog posts of 2025, chosen by you, the readers:



Today, the 26th of March is Purple Day. It's a celebration aimed to raise epilepsy awareness worldwide, a condition that globally affects over 65 million people. But did you know that dogs can be afflicted with this ailment as well?



Show your pup(s) some love with a batch of doughnuts! Quick and easy to make and packed with flavor. My dogs love these delicious treats - and soon, your furry friends will crave them, too!




Self-publishing has become a buzzword in recent years, changing the landscape of the literary world for aspiring authors. Yet, with the rise of this new publishing model, a myriad of misconceptions has also emerged. For many, self-publishing is still shrouded in myths that can deter potential authors from embarking on their publishing journey.




A couple of weeks ago, I received the following email from KDP: "Congratulations! You're invited to participate in KDP's beta for audiobooks. Starting today, you can now produce audiobook versions of your eligible eBooks using virtual voice narration and reach new customers by making them available on Amazon, Audible, and Alexa Customers..."




I’d like to take this opportunity to share some insight into living with canine epilepsy—a subject very near and dear to my heart. The two dogs pictured above were my beloved “Epi-warriors,” Lana and Darren. They weren’t just pets; they were family.
